Yassin Terou fled Syria with a suitcase and a few hundred dollars. When he arrived in Knoxville, Tennessee, he knew no one, and he spoke no English. With a small dream of bringing the flavors of his country to his newfound home, he worked to rebuild his life one falafel at a time. Now, through his restaurant, Yassin sends a resounding message that transcends dividing lines.
